Stacy Crim, who previously served as vice president of small business in Washington, will now assume an expanded role as vice president of the Washington market. This position will include additional oversight of account management in the state. Renee Balsiger will continue to lead the Oregon market.
Stephanie Walker has been appointed vice president for the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) and public sector. Her expanded responsibilities will include overseeing all public-sector accounts in addition to her existing HCA business management. Tracy Olsen will take on an expanded role as director of new sales, now covering both Oregon and Washington. Michael Cole, president for Regence in both Oregon and Washington, emphasized the strategic rationale behind these changes. "Oregon and Washington have much more in common than they have apart, with employers, providers and brokers increasingly working across state lines," Cole stated. Crim has 25 years of experience in healthcare account management and strategic planning, with a master's degree in health administration from the University of Washington. Balsiger brings over 30 years of industry experience working with employer groups in the Western market. Walker has more than three decades of experience in account management, product development, and healthcare operations. Olsen contributes two decades of experience in employee benefits and health insurance solutions in the Northwest.
