Patients in Roseville, California, now have access to a comprehensive dental practice that combines preventive, restorative, cosmetic, surgical, and implant dentistry under one roof. Star Dental Implants, also known as Star Dental Cosmetic and Implant Center, offers a broad spectrum of treatments designed to meet patients' needs at every stage of their oral health journey. This integrated approach allows patients to receive coordinated care without the inconvenience of visiting multiple dental offices.
A major focus of the practice is advanced dental implant treatment for patients with one or more missing teeth. Available solutions include single dental implants, All-on-X treatment, full-arch dental implants, implant-supported dentures, custom implant restorations, and zirconia implant bridges. The team also performs supporting procedures such as bone grafting, ridge preservation, sinus lifts, guided implant surgery, and platelet-rich fibrin treatment. For qualifying patients, same-day temporary teeth can provide an attractive and functional smile while the permanent implant restoration is being completed. Every implant treatment plan is customized according to the patient's oral health, bone structure, functional requirements, cosmetic preferences, and long-term goals.
Star Dental Implants supports its treatments with modern technology and a fully digital, onsite dental laboratory. Certified dental technicians work directly with the doctors to design and refine customized restorations. CT scans, 3D imaging, digital impressions, and guided surgical planning allow the team to evaluate oral structures in detail and approach implant placement with greater precision. The practice is led by Dr. Sonny Afshar, Dr. Fara Afshar, and Dr. Jason Khatra, who bring extensive experience in implant, cosmetic, restorative, preventive, surgical, and sedation dentistry.
Recognizing that dental anxiety can prevent people from receiving necessary treatment, Star Dental Implants also offers sedation dentistry. Available options include oral and IV sedation, with recommendations based on the patient's health history, comfort level, and planned procedure. Sedation may benefit patients who experience dental fear, have a strong gag reflex, require longer procedures, or want to complete multiple treatments in fewer appointments. This service is particularly important as it addresses a common barrier to oral care, potentially improving access to necessary treatments for anxious patients.
Patient education remains an important part of the practice's approach. The team takes time to discuss available treatments, answer questions, and explain the expected costs and stages of care. This collaborative process allows patients to make informed decisions and select options that reflect their medical, dental, personal, and financial circumstances. For the community, the presence of such a comprehensive practice means greater convenience and access to a wide range of dental services, from routine cleanings to complex implant surgeries. Patients interested in general dental care, replacing missing teeth, improving their smiles, or addressing dental anxiety may schedule a consultation to explore their treatment options.
